FFL Transfers in Massachusetts | CFC Tactical Firearm Transfer Services

CFC Tactical Firearm Transfer Service strictly adheres to Massachusetts state laws and regulations regarding firearm transfers. It is your responsibility to ensure the firearm you wish to transfer is fully compliant with Massachusetts laws. Please follow the steps below carefully.

Step 1: Verify Compliance

  • Ensure the firearm complies with current Massachusetts regulations.
  • For guidance on what constitutes an “assault-type firearm,” please visit the Gun Owner’s Action League (GOAL) website: GOAL Assault-Type Firearms Information

Step 2: Handgun Compliance

  • If transferring a handgun, confirm the exact model appears on the Massachusetts “Approved Firearms Roster.”
  • Important Note: Presence on the roster does not necessarily guarantee full Massachusetts compliance. Verify carefully: Approved Firearms Rosters

Step 3: Request Transfer Authorization

  • Before shipping a firearm, please obtain authorization from CFC Tactical.
  • To initiate the process, please complete our FFL Transfer Form below. Once filled out, wait for confirmation and approval from terry@cfctactical.com.
  • As a 2nd option you can download a PDF version of our FFL Transfer Form. Once filled out, email the form along with any additional details to terry@cfctactical.com.

Do not ship the firearm until you have received email confirmation from CFC Tactical authorizing shipment.

Important Considerations:

  • If you ship a firearm to us that is not compliant with Massachusetts laws, you will be responsible for all associated shipping and handling costs to return the firearm.
  • Firearms transferred using CFC Tactical Firearm Transfer Service must be picked up within 30 days. Firearms not picked up within this period may incur daily storage fees.
  • Any non-Massachusetts compliant firearms left unclaimed for 60 days will be considered abandoned and will become the property of CFC Tactical.
